Bunnies!

My mom was outside doing more yardwork when she called me. I'm sitting inside on Facebook, angry because people need unique names (You know how difficult it is to find people with normal first and last names?? I'm trying to find a relative and apparently there are many people with the same name as her. Ugh.) when my mom literally calls me on my phone. 30 feet away.
"You should come outside"
(slightly whiny voice) "Why?"
"Well I found this little creature..."
"On my way!"

I love little animals. Whenever we find something on our farm-ish property, I'm usually the first to ask "Can we keep it?"  I could easily be voted as 'Most likely to be an animal hoarder'. So if you read the title of this post, I'm sure you can guess what my mom found.

2 LITTLE BUNNIES!!!

They're so cute ^^

Of course, I asked my mom if we could keep them.

She said no -_-

On the plus side, I noticed when I was squealing about the cute little things, I saw a side of myself I thought I had lost: My inner child.

I've named her Sophie, and she is what keeps me optimistic. She's bright, happy, loves the little things in life, and usually has a Hello Kitty bandaid somewhere. Doesn't take much to make her smile, but she's hurt easily. However, since she's only 4 years old, and beautifully naiive to the ways of the world, Sophie believes there is good in everyone and that everything can be fixed with a hug. It's difficult to be happy without her.

Anyways, when I graduated, I fell into a rut and thought I lost Sophie. It was a few very unhappy days. But the fact that I see her coming back makes me so happy I could dance :P Or run around my house in Sophie's tutu.

By the way I do not consider myself crazy because I let my innerchild have such a personality and some tangible items I dub as hers. I consider myself happily insane :)

I'm listening to Panic! at the Disco's Nine in the Afternoon. I love this song. Lets me know summer is here, even if the weather is cold and dreary like today. This video makes me want to wear a fake mustache and march around in yellow rainboots singing into a fire extinguisher.

Parts of this video actually inspired part of the decorum to my room. Irrelevant :P The video was also part of the inspiration to the title of my other blog, Solo Parade.

Wow I really just blog nonsense...off to an auction! I still feel sickish from yesterday, but I won't have the opportunity, to purchase some washed-up hippie's junk that's been gathering in the the basement for who knows how long, until August. Then again, the people hosting the auction aren't hippies. Maybe I'll find something

P.S.  "He's my favorite because he can't talk."
